This screen allows filing of the trust tax return as well as filing documents to SARS.
By selecting the efiling tab the following screen will display and you can drive the whole eFiling process from this screen. Please note that the filing is a 2 step process:-
1. Submit the tax return and then the system will respond and say waiting for supporting documents if it is necessary to file supporting documents.
2. Add the supporting document in the top box which must be in a PDF format. Ensure the file name has .pdf at the end and there are only alpha numeric characters with no spaces in the name. Do not make the name longer then 15 characters.
The Trust return works the same as the company return when it comes to the supporting documents.
When you submit the return it will change its status to awaiting supporting documents if SARS needs the documents.
This is entirely based on SARS whether they asked for the documents or not.
In this case of some trust the documents were optional so SARS did not force the documents to be uploaded and it got assessed.
Sky cannot upload documents unless SARS gives us the link to upload when the return is submitted.
